Here we go Round and round the bend
I have driven!
It's my second driving practical session today and the instructor got me to move the car immediately. Because I hadn't gotten a chance to do that in the first session.
He seemed bored and it was in contrast to my newbie eager/nervous (it's a fine line i tell ya) state today. However, he was nice enough.
So i spent about 90minutes plus today practising how to move off and stop. And driving around the beginner's circuit. And changing from 1st to 2nd gear, and it's just a little bit confusing with a manual car.
But, the teaching progress was just right, i got to drive round and practise my moves like what seemed a gazillion times today, going round and round but enjoying every minute of it. Haha
It gave me the thrills, just hearing the engine start(which i did so repeatedly because i sometimes released the clutch pedal too quickly), and revving it up when i'm moving off, and the whole idea of being in control of this big machine which can transport and did indeed transport at least two people today.
I'm taking my Basic Theory Test on friday (finally!) and will get my driver's provisional licence immediately to drive out on the roads, if I pass the test.
I have also booked another driving lesson after the test on that day. so if I can drive impressively well (decently is good enough, but it doesn't do any harm to be all motivated up right?) around the circuit, the instructor may ask me to drive out into the real world. ha.
Wish me all the best!
