Firstly, let me get this announcement off my chest:
Gavin Degraw has officially released his new album today! You can listen to all the tracks free here at Ilike:
http://apps.facebook.com/ilike/artist/Gavin+DeGraw They're quite awesome.
Gavin's an amazing musician and singer (just hear him sing Belief live on any Youtube vid and you know what I'm talking about!). Imagine that he started out as a mere pub/bar piano player. haha. I really wish he would come to Singapore one day :D
Anyway, this past weekend I spent it driving my dad's car like crazy (i passed my driving test after all, whoopee!). And yes, that includes the literal sense. I have a lot of getting used to the roads in the real world man. My parking is totally shit, i scratched my dad's tires on the kerb(s) one too many times and had so many harrowing road encounters. I am so glad to have my dad beside me until the next 2-3 months.
And it seems that my modules' workload is not that crazy after all. It's humanly manageable because project datelines and whatnot are spaced out nicely which gives me breathing space. So for example, I am having 3 presentations this week (one down on monday already), and i should be stressed out but I'm not. Probably also because I'm sorta-kinda prepared, and arts students aren't given high expectations for their presentations, unlike our business school friends who have to be all dressed up and professional. Like, for my thursday's presentation, my team is even thinking of wearing soccer jerseys in keeping with the topic (Discourse analysis of sports reports).
anyway, look to the sky these few days. I've noticed we've FINALLY got some clear blue skies going on instead of the usual massive amounts of clouds.
I once read somewhere that when
Rapture happens, it will be a clear day.
