Robyn, the FEMALE SWEDISH ELECTRO-POP SINGER, and who goes by the moniker Robyn, ROCKKKED last night. I expected her to be good, but not THAT good. She blew everyone away i guess. From the get-go, she was so high energy, opening with the song, Cobrastyle. She never stopped dancing...and her voice never wavered and went out of pitch or became breathless. She was an energizing force last night! I was so freaking amazed throughout her whole set, I've never met such a performer like her. She is truly in her element, being an electronic pop singer. Man, she didn't need any props or gimmicks, just her. and her band. Her 2 drummers, one of whom became a bassist in one of the song and a keyboardist, and some recorded music. I bought her CD, and that means something, considering I haven't bought an album in a long time :P I am so going to mention her in my radio show tomorrow. As it is, I don't know if I can shut up about her in days to come...hee...

A video I filmed, but with no audio. I think she's performing to the song 'With Every Heartbeat', as she shows a heart pumping under her shirt, near the last part:)

The last song, an encore, she performed was Show Me Love (a smash hit back in the day. It's the only song she performed acoustically, quietly:


She is way better 'live' than on her album (her voice is mega-powerful)...she sounds too polished and a lil' subdued in her album, but it's still good, cuz the production and her lyrics are rocking and heartfelt:)
Go get her album!! It started going on sale in Singapore only on Monday, 17th Sept:)

Now, I wonder when she'll be back in Singapore..! hee...You're always welcome in Singapore, Robyn!
